What a useless comment. I suppose you call it 'ruining an icon' as well when Chevrolet releases a new generation model.
However, I do kind of agree with the above comment on the rear. Not going as far as to say it's ugly but more like it looks unfinished. It could use some more detail in there. Adding a shape for the license plate would help a lot, for example.
A couple of things on the side too that struck my eye the bad way. Especially in this angle the area where the door's rear edge meets the body panel looks awkward. Doesn't look like the body panels are in line with each other since there's a big difference in the lighting between them.
The shape in the bottom of the side vent also creates and unflattering shadow and reflection on the side and could use some more design work to make it look better. In the side view it doesn't look that bad though.
I really like the side profile and the front design!
A Useless comment? Really how so? I would comment on the artistic value of the pic but since it was uploaded off the net some where I didn't. As for saying that when Chevrolet releases a new model, no I would not say that. It is their design not something chopped up by someone else. All models of the corvette have been beautiful cars in their own right, even when they were not the most quality car in the world. i.e. 1970's - 80's
Well based on the fact that Martin here has spent a lot of time designing and modeling this concept and you just write it off just by saying the base Corvette is a lot better, as if to say all work here was for nothing. You could at least set it aside that you prefer Corvettes and concentrate on the good portions on this one and comment on them.
